The current android mobile and tablet app Rice Pest Lab is developed for the Rice researchers, students and technicians to collect data in the rice field and to do the analysis. Some features such as Pest Screening, Pest Monitoring, Pest Diversity, Pest Loss Assessment and Pesticide Evaluation are included. The team involved also included in the app. The app has web-based application systems which facilitates flow of information from the researchers, students and technicians to the farm scientist. They can use this App as an analysis tool in their rice fields and use the reports for their ongoing research. In the present form of this app Rice Pest Lab, we have taken all care to cover most of the required rice research modules. In future we will include more information and other components to make this App more robust and adequate with the help of valuable comments and feedback received from the rice researchers, students and rice technicians. This APP may also be a very useful tool for the students studying on rice crop in different states as well as in the country.
