@KIIT University, mainly offers the courses of engineering.& was established in 1997.University was formally known as Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. In 2014, KIIT get its university reorganization.All the technical courses are accredited by NBA. Other academic program are approved by Statutory Bodies of the government of India.

@The college has got status from Human Resource Department (HRD), by the Government of India.The modern teaching methodology assists the students in getting an all around view of engineering, technology and the entrepreneur world. The diligent faculty team of the college possesses hands-on experience and up to date knowledge of their subject and area of expertise.
