THE CHURCH COVENANT

Being led by the Holy Spirit, we accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and for public confession of our faith, were baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Now in the presence of God and this assembly, we solemnly and joyfully enter into an agreement with each other as members of the same body of Christ.

Empowered by the Holy Ghost, we are going to:

Show each other Christian love

Fight for growth of knowledge and holiness of our church

Promote prosperity and increase spirituality of our church

Regularly attend services of the church and fully support the church’s determinations, discipline, and doctrines, giving the church superiority over all human practices and establishments

Sacrifice our time and talents for attending church services and its ministries

Regularly and heartily financially support the ministries (depending on our income), help to cover church expenses, help the poor, and personally spread the Gospel among all nations.

We undertake to:

Build home churched at our families

Educate our children according to God's Word

Concern ourselves with salvation of our relatives and friends

Be very careful in the world, just in all things, faithful in our commitments, and have exemplary behavior

Avoid all kinds of gossip, backbiting, slander, and excessive anger

Refrain from everything that dishonors our Lord Jesus Christ, or serve as a stumbling block to other believers, or hinder people from gaining Jesus Christ

Zealously preach the Gospel, bringing the completion of the works of Christ, our Savior, giving Him advantage over everything

We will:

Support one another in the blessed hope of the Lord's return

With brotherly love watch over each other, remember each other in prayers, and help each other in need and during illness

Develop a sense of brotherly inclination and treat each other with fraternal courtesy, and not rush to take offense and always be ready for reconciliation

Always remember the commandments of our Savior and execute them without delay.
