Thai Foodie Lite is perfect for tourists visiting Thailand or fans of Thai food.

Foodie Light is Foodie's little brother with all the same functionality but for those with limited mobile device space. I have reduced the HD image sizes to significantly reduce the size of this version of the app without losing any of the functionality.

Speaking Dishes

Now ordering your favourite Thai food couldn't be easier as every Foodie Thai dish has its very own speak button which uses Google's Thai language voice to say and pronounce the dish in Thai; perfect when visiting a restaurant for ordering Thai food. Simply use the speak button for the dish you want and the dish is spoken by Google's very own authentic Thai voice.

NB. To use the speak button functionality simply set Thai to your TTS voice in your mobile device's settings. If you don't already have Thai TTS voice installed, downloading and installing it a breeze and it can be set up in minutes and best of all, it's free! Navigation

Browse easily through the many Thai dishes by simply swiping left or right in the any of the many food sections. Tap on a section photo to view all the dishes in each section. Each of the sections has pagination to let you know how many dishes or sections or in each group and how far along you are in that group..

Favourites

Easily add your favourite dishes with just one screen tap and store them in your favourites section for easy access.

Dish Info

In addition to high quality images for each dish, you have an English name for each dish, the English phonetic pronunciation of the dish as it said in Thai and the actual name of the dish in Thai (great for showing the waiter or waitress in a Thai restaurant).

Need some more details about the dish, not a problem, just click on the info button located in the top left corner of each dish to display dish details.
