Is your Android phone running an Odexed or Deodexed ROM? Do you even know? All unrooted Android devices come with an Odexed ROM. But with root, you can install a Deodexed ROM, which allows you to customize your device! Of course, a Deodexed ROM is not a requirement upon rooting your phone.
