The Bible Almeida Revista eCorrigida is a revision of the translation by João Ferreira Almeida, the ARC. João Ferreira Almeida made the first version in Portuguese, in the year 1569. Over the years, different revisions emerged.

The Almeida Corrected version was the result of the work of specialists in biblical studies, who achieved a balance between cultured and popular language. They replaced archaic expressions with more modern expressions.

Currently, Almeida Revista Correctida is the most popular and most used Bible in Brazil by Catholics and Protestants.
