Phonetic game of letters in French
Educational phonics game explores all 36 sounds of the French language and lays the foundation for reading. This game is extracted from the application Corneille, a complete learning to read application for children from 3 to 8 years old.
The frog game is extremely simple: the child hears the sound (or phoneme) and then records himself repeating it. He can then listen to himself over and over again!
This game, accessible very early by the young child, even before reading, promotes awareness of the role of language in the coding of written language. The child, by imitating the frog will be able to:
● correctly reproduce an articulatory movement and produce an adequate sound (useful for allophone public)
● the phonological loop: the child will produce a sound and will be able to listen to its production
● associate a sound with the corresponding spelling: we are at the beginning of reading and we inform the child that there is a link between oral and written language
This game can be used by French speaking children but also by children discovering French as a foreign language.
