आदिवासी विकास विभाग आणि आदिवासी संशोधन व प्रशिक्षण संस्था (TRTI), पुणे यांनी आदिवासी बांधवांसाठी 'आदिमवाणी' नावाचे एक सामुदायिक रेडिओ चॅनल सुरु केला आहे. या रेडिओच्या माध्यमातून आदिम जमातींना उपयुक्त माहिती मिळणार असून त्यातून शासन आणि आदिवासी समाज यांच्यात एक सुसंवाद निर्माण होण्यास मदत होणार आहे.
हे रेडिओ केंद्र महाराष्ट्रातील शहापूर, गडचिरोली आणि यवतमाळमधील दुर्गमातल्या दुर्गम भागातल्या आदिवासी बांधवांसाठी आहे. या रेडिओवर आदिवासी महिलांसाठी उपयुक्त माहिती, आदिवासी विद्यार्थी आणि नवयुवकांसाठी शिक्षण, रोजगार यासंबंधीचे मार्गदर्शन तसेच आदिवासी शेतकऱ्यांसाठी शेतीविषयक उपयुक्त माहिती, आदिवासी संगीत आणि बरंच काही ऐकायला मिळणार आहे.e effort to preserve the heritage of our old traditions and culture
