Realistic contents that can be utilized in middle school science 1,2, society ①, ② in 2015 revised curriculum using VR and AR

1. What is realistic content?

1) Contents that provide a rich learning experience utilizing 3D visual effects technology using 3D modeling graphics centering on the subject learning contents contained in textbooks.

2) Realistic content was produced using AR (Augmented Reality), VR (Virtual Reality), 360˚ photo and video data production technology.

3) Realistic content provides a realistic experience through visual and spatial expansion.

2. Content type

1) VR (Virtual Reality)

-Provides an immersive three-dimensional experience in a virtual space that is completely blocked from the real space.

-Allows learners to experience or manipulate things that are difficult or impossible to observe in reality.

-You can experience VR by combining smartphone and HMD (Head Mount Display) equipment.

2) Augmented Reality

-It is a technology that immediately shows related information in the form of 3D in real or place.

Augmented reality content provides interaction based on manipulation and mobility.

-Recognize AR markers as a camera, and virtual objects will appear superimposed on the reality.

3) 360˚ photo and video

-Indirect experience of the real environment, not computer graphics.

-The user can move around freely and explore the space.
