《What is pulse pressure/average blood pressure? 》

It is said that the tendency of arteriosclerosis can be seen.

*Pulse pressure is determined by systolic blood pressure (systolic blood pressure) - diastolic blood pressure (diastolic blood pressure). The normal value is said to be 40 to 60, and if the pulse pressure is high, arteriosclerosis in relatively large blood vessels is suspected.

*Average blood pressure is calculated by systolic blood pressure + (systolic blood pressure - diastolic blood pressure) ÷ 3. The normal value is said to be less than 90, and if the average blood pressure is high, arteriosclerosis in small peripheral blood vessels is suspected.

《What is ME difference/ME average? 》

ME is an acronym for Morning and Evening.

It is said to help determine the risk of stroke and heart disease.

*ME difference is calculated from the morning (waking up) systolic blood pressure - the evening (before going to bed) systolic blood pressure.

*ME average is calculated from (systolic blood pressure in the morning (when you wake up) + systolic blood pressure at night (before going to bed)) ÷ 2.

Normal values ​​are said to be a ME difference of less than 15 and an ME average of less than 135, but these vary depending on age and health status.

Also, the time at which you measure your blood pressure in the morning and at night is important (how long after waking up, before or after eating, before or after taking a bath, how long before going to bed, etc.), so please consult your doctor for details. Please ask your doctor.
