Shri Krishna narrates the Gita verses to Arjuna at a time when Arjuna refuses to fight during the war of Mahabharata, then Shri Krishna narrates the Geeta verses to Arjuna and informs him of the true knowledge of Karma and Dharma. These teachings of Shri Krishna have been compiled in a book called Bhagavad Gita.

Kabir or Bhagat Kabir was a 15th century Indian mystic poet and saint. He was the promoter of the poetry of the Gyanashrayi-Nirgun branch in the devotional era of Hindi literature. His compositions influenced the Bhakti movement of the Hindi state to a deeper level. His writing is also found in the Adi Granth of Sikhs.
