Enjoy reading The Book of the Two Migrations and the Gate of the Two Felicities by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya with the best offline book app and many other features.

In the book, you will find answers to most of your questions regarding Islamic law, in clear, detailed form, such as matters of predestination and destiny, the people of Paradise and Hell, the fate of believers (those who wrong themselves, those who are moderate, and those who are foremost in good deeds), the fate of hypocrites, unbelievers and jinn, the children of unbelievers, those who live in the interval between the two periods, and the insane. Also, who is in a better state: a repentant Muslim or one who has not sinned? How should the elite and the common people worship in matters of hope, love, and fear? The meanings of God's mercy, greatness, and justice; the degrees of poverty before Him, reliance upon Him, and praise of Him, glory be to Him. And Other Matters

This book is wonderful and discusses the ranks of worshippers and their positions before God Almighty. It includes some Sufi sayings, extracting the best of them, and refuting the fallacies contained within them.

The two migrations are: migration to God through seeking, love, servitude, trust, repentance, need, fear, and hope; and migration to His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, in his outward and inward movements and stillness, so that they are in accordance with His law and Sunnah, considering him, may God bless him and grant him peace, the best example and the highest model.

- As I was about to finish reading it, I felt like I was losing a friend. No one will regret reading Ibn Qayyim's books and spending time with them.

Lamia

- A wonderful book in which Ibn Qayyim takes you into the world of abandoning the world and drawing closer to God Almighty. It is one of the books of the early scholars that contains useful information. It is a book that discusses some interpretations at times, some of the words of the early scholars at other times, and the fatwas of scholars at other times. The most useful thing that benefited me in the book was Ibn Qayyim's (may God have mercy on him) words about the classes of those who are accountable. This is a very useful book for anyone who wants to pursue the path of seeking knowledge. Ahmed Abdel Aziz

- I've read it several times, and whenever I miss myself, I reread it.

Muhammad Shalaby

- A book with many topics, as is Ibn Qayyim's habit when he forgets himself in discussing issues. His method of presenting opinions and favoring the most correct ones is something I've never seen, until the books I've read, that can match or even match him. He talks about destiny, repentance, the ranks of people on the Day of Judgment, love and giving. You'll find many topics and discussions that require you to pause and focus.

Mani

There is a type of book that accompanies you throughout your life, so you read and draw from it as long as you need provisions, because it comes from a bountiful and diverse source. This book is one of them.

❇️ Some quotes from the book The Path of the Two Migrations and the Gate of the Two Felicities by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya ❇️

"Whoever knows God longs for Him, and if knowledge has no end, then the longing of the knower has no end."

"Whoever knows his Lord with absolute richness knows “He who knows his Lord with complete power knows himself with complete helplessness. He who knows his Lord with complete glory knows himself with complete poverty. He who knows his Lord with complete knowledge and wisdom knows himself with complete ignorance.”
