🔷 🔶 Who is Sheikh Kamel Youssef El-Bahtimi?

🔸 Kamel Youssef El-Bahtimi is an Egyptian Quran reciter and one of the most prominent figures in this field. Sheikh Kamel Youssef El-Bahtimi was born in the Bahtim neighborhood of Shubra El-Kheima, Qalyubia. 🔹 His father, a Quran reciter, enrolled him in the village Quran school when he was six years old. He completed memorizing the Quran before he turned ten, becoming a well-known Quran reciter in the town and a Friday Quran reciter at the village mosque.

🔸 He studied under Sheikh Muhammad al-Saifi, who adopted him, took him along to his parties, and took him by the hand from the village where he grew up. He hosted him in his home in Cairo, and he found his way to fame until he became the Quran reciter at the Republican Palace.

🔹 Youssef El-Bahtimi joined the radio in 1946. In the 1950s, he was chosen as a reciter at Omar Makram Mosque. He died on February 6, 1969, at the age of 47.
