The letters of the Arabic language were not written in the current form, which is by placing dots on some letters, but with the entry of many people to Islam from outside the Arabian Peninsula, the inability to distinguish between letters became widespread, and errors in reading spread, such as the letters “b, t, and th,” so there was no ability to write them. Distinguishing between them, especially between non-Arabs new to Islam, and from here was the beginning of the use of dots in the Arabic language
