Arabic is the official language of 22 countries and is the mother tongue of more than 200 million people who live geographically from southeast Asia to northwest Africa, which is more commonly known as the Arab world.

The Arabic alphabet consists of 28 letters. Some letters are connected with neighboring letters in words on both sides, while others are connected only to the right, so their spelling coincides in the initial and separate versions, as well as in the middle and final.
