Aubal is a language learning platform to better share culture and language.

Based on our customer research, students and teacher find the textbooks and traditional language learning software that they use as not engaging, not helpful and not relevant. Moreover, teachers, students and linguists all recognize culture and authentic materials as being essential to the language learning process.

The fundamental assumption of Aubal is that not everyone is the same. That’s why we want to better supplement student's language learning with authentic materials by keeping in mind students unique interests.

When you sign up, Aubal will gauge your interests and skill level and will continue to monitor your responses to the content that you encounter to best deliver exciting and appropriate news articles, tweets, songs and recipes, etc.

We want to transform the language learner from a passive recipient of vocabulary and conjugations to an active participant by allowing users to integrate their passions into the process and giving them exposure to real, not artificial, learning materials.
