Originally designed to replace World of Warcraft, Tencent's MMORPG Tarisland is now preparing for a worldwide launch. Immerse yourself in its world!
Tencent recently released a new preview for its upcoming MMORPG, Tarisland. The game is scheduled to be launched later this year on both mobile and PC platforms. Initially designed as an alternative to World of Warcraft in China, it will now have a worldwide release. It boasts an extensive world with various environments and an engaging plot featuring distinctive characters.
The beginnings of Tarisland can be traced back to the very beginning of time when three primordial gods, Leith, Acheron, and Moira ruled over everything. These deities were connected with the cycle of life on planets; however, they had distinct beliefs and perspectives.
The situation took a turn when life came into existence on Taris, which sparked the Triangular Conflict. The god Acheron became determined to stop life from thriving and if this divine danger isn't dealt with, Taris could be destroyed.
Players will have the responsibility of rescuing a vast world full of unique surroundings and societies, each with their own customs and beliefs. Tarisland has more than ten diverse game modes that present different tasks to be completed, providing numerous opportunities for exploration in Taris.
In addition, the game has a complex system for character classes with nine different options available. These classes can be personalized to fit specific playing styles and require players to make various choices such as selecting specializations, distributing talent points from 40 possibilities, choosing gear sets and costumes, deciding on mounts, and allocating attribute points.
Tarisland has a system that changes with the seasons, and it provides both PvP and PvE content to cater to everyone. Working together will be advantageous because the raid bosses can be tough, so planning ahead and using different abilities is necessary during these battles, especially for those who want valuable prizes.
