2022-07-12
Road to Vostok is a game set in a post-apocalyptic world, on the border between Finland and Russia. This game requires players to survive, loot, plan, and prepare their way across the border and into the East.
Survival
The game features realistic weapon mechanics, an advanced survival system, and a hardcore survival sandbox experience with hostile NPCs. It also features multiple medical conditions, tactical weapon handling, perma-death elements, and in-depth character simulation. Players will have to clear, store and craft hundreds of unique items based on real-world parameters and progressive loot levels.
Trading
Trade, buy, or sell items to professional in-game traders with an intuitive reject/accept value system. Merchants can also be used for services such as medical treatment or weapons maintenance.
Activity
A dynamic game world where game events such as Crash Sites, Airdrops, Ambush, and special Trading Quest events happen randomly. There are also ambient weather events such as rain and thunderstorms.
Map
The game world is made of multiple individual maps. These maps are unique areas and based on real-world locations. They are connected to each other, and each map has an NPC-AI difficulty level. The main idea is that as you head east to Vostok, the game gets harder, but the loot gets better.
Refuge
Vaults are safe areas where players can store their loot. Shelters vary in size and customization. Shelters are always available to players, and most of them are also easy to find. Vaults are the only way to save the game.
Border
The game world is divided by boundary areas and physical boundaries. Players can head to the East by using Crossing Point to cross the border. Each of these Crossing Point has unique game mechanics and a certain level of risk come with it.
The East
The East is a dangerous and mysterious area. When you use the Crossing Point to cross the border and enter Vostok, you enter the perma-death zone. If you die in Vostok, you will lose everything, including the items stored in your shelters.
