Recall the year 2020 and your memories might be quite varied. It was, after all, the pandemic period when we were navigating unexplored waters. For several mobile gaming organizations, these were boom days, prior to the hard realities of the subsequent year. Notably, it was also when the Genshin Impact ARPG was released. Developer MiHoYo is set to remember their successful game with a fresh installment of HoYoFair on September 21st!
Unfamiliar with the HoYoFair? It's pretty much a display of fan-made content dedicated to this popular immersive game. It features musical performances, animations, and much more, all contributed by fervent game fans. With over 300 creators and a two-hour duration, it's more than twice as long as the prior edition of HoYoFair held in Spring.
MiHoYo indeed has reasons to be grateful, given that the launch of Genshin Impact led to the release of their next two follow-up games - Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, both of which have been massive hits.
The appeal of gacha games is undeniable, regardless of popular opinion.
