The first phase of the Genshin Impact 5.1 banners features the introduction of Xilonen, a new 5-Star Geo sword-user, alongside the returning character Chiori. This phase runs from October 9 to October 29, 2024, allowing players to wish for both characters on their respective banners: Xilonen on the "Forgefire's Blessing" banner and Chiori on the "Of Silken Clouds Woven" banner.

Phase 2 will commence on October 29 and run until November 19, featuring returning characters Nahida and Hu Tao on their respective banners: "The Moongrass' Enlightenment" and "Moment of Bloom".

5.1 Characters

New Character - Xilonen

A Geo sword-user

She specializes in area-of-effect damage and healing abilities. Her skills allows her to restore HP to nearby allies while dealing damage to enemies.

3 Returning Characters - Chiori & Nahida & HuTao

Chiori: Featured in Phase 1 alongside Xilonen.
Nahida and Hu Tao: Both returning in Phase 2, offering players a chance to obtain these popular characters once again.

5.1 Events

5 event program for a limited time is currently available in the 5.1 update :

Chromatic Ode of Candies and Roses

A flagship event

Celebrate Nahida's birthday with mini-games and rewards including a free character copy of Candace.

Feast of Pursuit

A combat challenge event

Once you enter the event, the countdown begins. So seize every second to maximize your enemy elimination.

The more enemies you eliminate, the more primogems and many other rewards you will.

*Tip: You have to utilize a Pursuit Providences to complete an enemy kill.

Reminiscent Regimen: Thrill

A co-op event

Test your teamwork strategies in this special event. Eliminate your objectives one by one and you'll get extensive rewards for return.

Aphid Treasure Trace

A Bug-hunting combat event

Find and defeat Abyss-Corroded Aphids. Use specialized nets to catch them.

*Tip: Xilonen's Nightsoul Blessing State and Kinich's Skills will be a great help while catching Phlogiston Aphids.

Liben's Daily Commissions

Marvelous merchandise rerun

Use Co-Op boards to find Liben's location and you'll be rewarded Box O' Marvels!

*Tip: The daily Box O' Marvels varies for each player's world. Play online with friends is an efficient way to access a diverse range of rewards.

5.1 Quests

Version 5.1 continues the story with:

Act 3 and 4 of Natlan's Archon Quest (500 extra Primogems for completing them both during 5.1).
Xilonen's Tribal Chronicles Story Quest (extra Primogems and Ascension materials rewarded for completing it in version 5.1).
400 extra Primogems for completing Natlan World Quests and completing Natlan Exploration progress (until version 5.2 ends).

These new Archon quests delve deeper into the narrative involving the Pyro Archon and her struggles against the Abyss45. Players will be introduced to key characters Citlali and Ororon during these quests.

5.1 Boss

Secret Source Constructor, a new world boss, has been introduced in this update.

Defeating this boss will:

yield rare materials necessary for ascending Xilonen
add an additional layer of challenge for players seeking to enhance their characters.

Beyond new characters and events, version 5.1 includes:

A new signature weapon for Xilonen called Peak Patrol Song, which enhances both defense and elemental damage for its wielder while providing buffs to nearby allies.

Three new four-star weapons debuting alongside Xilonen's banner.
Quality-of-life improvements across various gameplay elements, including updates to the Spiral Abyss with new monster line-ups and Ley Line Disorders.
Updates to Genius Invokation TCG with fresh cards and balance changes.
