Genshin Impact 4.8 introduces one new 5-star character while featuring three returning favorites.

The Genshin Impact 4.8 update introduces the 5-Star Lumidouce Elegy polearm, Emilie's signature weapon.

Available in Phase 2 of the weapon banners, this new polearm is expected to complement Emilie's Dendro abilities, offering players a powerful option for their arsenal.

Summertide Scales and Tales

This main event in version 4.8 unfolds in Simulanka's new Summer area. This magical storybook world hosts four exciting activities: a gliding challenge, claw-machine games, combat trials, and a figurine collection. Players can earn and trade keepsake figurines, with the chance to obtain a free Kirara character upon collecting enough.

Envisaged Echoes

Envisaged Echoes - a permanent event in the Imaginarium Theater, offering unique character trailing effects as rewards. Players need special keys to participate, earned through Act 6 completion. In version 4.8, effects for Diluc, Qiqi, Kirara, Jean, and Ningguang are available. Characters must be Level 90 with friendship level 8 to attempt challenges.

Bing-Bang Finchball

It's back! Bing-Bang Finchball will soon come back with exciting new features. Players launch balls into target zones to score points, now challenged by Rival Finchballs that increase difficulty. The event introduces a co-op mode, allowing friends to compete using Rival Finchballs against each other. This updated version offers a fresh, competitive twist on the original game.

Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens: Dew-Kissed Chapter

Dew-Kissed, the new chapter is going to be released in the Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens event! This fresh new chapter evolves the popular Kamera event. Players can now complete photo commissions by capturing images of their favorite characters. The new Interval Timer mode enhances photography, allowing for perfectly timed shots. This updated version offers more flexibility and creativity in in-game photography.

Energy Amplifier: Lemma

Another returning event coming to this upcoming version - Energy Amplifier: Lemma! It returns with Akadeymia researcher Hosseini's new Fontainian Amplifier. This combat event challenges players to form three parties for three rounds of tests. Characters can be used across teams, but require sufficient Motive Points for leyline buffs. Test your strategic team-building skills in this exciting combat challenge.
