What better way to make sure the welfare of citizens, especially the underprivileged, than to give them the precious gift of health?

Illnesses, Weather it is chronic or acute, Can impose costs on households that can cascade catastrophic healthcare expenses with wide ranging consequences. Moreover, often when critical illnesses occur, access to quality treatment limited. It is also a fact that many people from Assam have two visit facilities out of the state for obtaining treatment, thus incurring prohibitive costs, often reducing them to penury. The Government Of Assam's commitment to the people of Assam is steadfast, assuring each citizen that they are not alone during such difficult times.

Inspired by our Honorable Prime Minister vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, Atal Amrit Abhiyan is one of the Assam Government's flagship scheme for health assurance. The ambitious scheme provides comprehensive coverage and cashless treatment benefits upto Rs. 2 Lakhs to every individual from BPL and Low income households across Assam for the Treatment of Six commonly prevalent and high cost disease groups-(a) Cardiovascular diseases, (b) Cancer, (c)Kidney diseases, (d) Neurological conditions, (e) Neonatal diseases and (f) Burns.

Providing hassle free and best-in class treatment coverage for 438 approved procedure's within the Six Specialties, Atal Amrit Abhiyan scheme is cashless at the point of delivery. The cashless transaction is facilitated by laminated card within unique identification number for each adult member of eligible family.

Every eligible minor is being enrolled within the card of the head of his/her family.
