How to Complete the New Fairy Event in Grow a Garden

Grow a Garden's latest update introduces the enchanting Fairy Event, a magical hourly event that transforms the gameplay experience by offering players new ways to earn rewards through the Wishing Well and Fairy Favors. Running for at least a week from August 30, 2025, this event is centered around interacting with Fairies, collecting Glimmering crops, and earning Wishes for unique fountain rewards.

Overview of the Fairy Event

At the start of every hour, the Fairy Event triggers a weather change with the sky turning purple and glittering sparkles filling the air. For 10 minutes, Fairies fly out from the island’s center to players' gardens and apply a special Glimmering mutation to random crops. These mutated crops are the key resource for participating in the event.

Players must submit these Glimmering crops to the Wishing Well—located in the center of the map opposite the Fairy Godmother. Submission can be of two types:

Fairy Favors: Specific daily tasks requesting certain Glimmering crops. Completing these grants an instant Wish and Fairy Points.
General Submissions: Any other Glimmering crops not part of current requests. These earn Fairy Points and fill the Fountain Power meter. Filling the meter also awards a Wish.

How to Complete Fairy Favors

Fairy Favors are daily tasks from the Wishing Well asking players to provide particular Glimmering crops. Completing these favors rewards a Wish, which unlocks fountain rewards.

Tasks increase in number and difficulty with each Wish tier, from needing to complete one task for the first two Wishes, two tasks for the third and fourth Wishes, and three tasks for the final Wish. Examples of requested crops include Glimmering Blueberry, Glimmering Tomato, Glimmering Pumpkin, and more exotic plants like Glimmering Aurora Vine in high tiers.

To optimize completion, players should grow as many different crop varieties as possible, increasing the chance that mutations will appear on requested crops during the Fairy Event’s hourly mutation phase.

Using the Wishing Well and Fountain Power

Submitting Glimmering crops contributes Fairy Points based on their rarity:

Common - 1 Point
Uncommon - 2 Points
Rare - 3 Points
Legendary - 4 Points
Mythical - 5 Points
Divine - 6 Points
Prismatic - 7 Points
Transcendent - 8 Points

Silver, Gold, and Rainbow variants add bonus points (+1, +2, +3 respectively). Accumulating points fills the Fountain Power meter, which upon reaching full capacity grants a Wish and access to the reward selection.

Each Wish tier offers progressively better rewards, which players can choose from three options. There is also a reroll option once per Wish if the choices aren’t desirable. Rewards include enchanted seed packs, fairy points, mutation sprays, enchanted crates and eggs, pet shards, and rare plants like the Aurora Vine.

Fairy Appearances and Extras

Fairies also occasionally appear randomly across the map outside of the main hourly event. Interacting with these roaming Fairies gives Fairy Points or may mutate crops in the garden, providing extra opportunities to gain points and help complete tasks.

Upgrades associated with the event can increase the Fairy spawn amount, extend the duration of the event, and boost the Fairy Points gained per submission. These upgrades help speed up progress through the event.

Best Practices for the Fairy Event

Grow a diverse range of crops to increase the chance of obtaining requested Glimmering mutations.
Submit requests as Fairy Favors first to earn instant Wishes and maximize reward tiers.
Submit additional Glimmering crops to fill the Fountain Power meter and gain extra Wishes.
Interact with roaming Fairies whenever they appear for bonus points or mutations.
Take advantage of event upgrades to increase Fairy spawn rate and points for faster rewards.
